Artist of the Month
DONNA SEIVERLING!
DONNA SEIVERLING is our July Artist of the Month! About six years ago, my daughter stopped in a stained glass and bead shop in the town we live in. She had her eye on several pieces of finished jewelry. She asked me to stop in and take a look for myself. I too fell in love with the jewelry and beads. As I got to talking with the owner and her employee, I discovered I could take classes from them. I thoroughly enjoyed the classes and was immediately hooked. It was so rewarding to see the final project. I later learned to layer and fire dichroic glass. I now have my own kiln at home. I just love to wear one of my creations out and have people say, "Wow, where did you get that?" It feels so thrilling to say I made it myself.
